In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top Maps and Navigation apps on Android in Germany exhibited diverse performance metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user trends for the top 5 apps.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location from Gentii Studio saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 16K in late September and surging to approximately 24K by late December. This growth was mirrored by a rise in weekly active users, which escalated from nearly 47K to over 91K during the same period.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 15K and 22K weekly downloads. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, with a slight dip from around 268K in late September to about 247K by the end of December.

Bolt: Request a Ride also showed a consistent download pattern, starting at 17K and maintaining figures close to this mark throughout the quarter. However, active users exhibited a downward trend, decreasing from approximately 91K to 74K over the same period.
